Is there some kind of lotion or something you get from a hair dresser that keeps headlice away ?

my brothers girkfriend was telling me that cause her daughter is gonna go to school and someone told her to buy that DO THEY REALLY SEE IT ???? AND IF SO WHAT IS IT AND WHAT IS IT CALLED???????Is there some kind of lotion or something you get from a hair dresser that keeps headlice away ?
I am a hairdresser, so I can tell you that there is nothing you can put on your hair to prevent lice although you can take a few steps to prevent getting lice:


1. Keep your head from getting too close to other's heads.


2. Don't share combs, brushes or anything that you use on/near your hair.


3. If you know someone has had lice, do not use the same bedding as them.


4. If you know someone has had lice recently, do a thorough check every couple days to watch out for signs.

Sorry but no. There's nothing out there that will prevent ur daughter from getting lice. Just tell her not to share brushes, hat, hair accessories from her friends.
honestly the only thing that helps is if you wash every day or every other day you take A LITTLE baby oil and run it through your hair....roots to ends....other than that no
