As a kid I had a bull cut that was cute for a while but by the time 5th grade came around I was sick of it and so I got something a little longer than a buzz cut. I've pretty much kept it that way till now and i usually get a cut when its nearing my eyes. I grew it out quite a bit past my eyes only one time. I liked it but there were some problems. one is that it got greasy after a day (I shower every day but still). After a shower it would always curl up, on the ends. This was ok and I could kinda make it look good, but I wanted to find a way to make it look good when it was straight down. But the only way it was ever straight down was when it was greasy. Also, I had a bunch of ugly stuff kinda coming out in the back from hair on my upper neck. Should I have cut that a couple times?

I'm growing my hair out and its now a mid length and I'm starting to wonder what to do with it and how to get it to look good. The problem is its not curly and its not straight, so it tends to just end up messy and with LOADS of volume. Can anyone suggest good styles for this type of hair?

Well if you must keep it! :)................. I have unruly hair as well, and I have tried many many hair products to get my locks to stay together, and not turn into a big poof ball. The BEST products I have found to separate my curls, but not look there is toothpaste in my hair, are the fallowing.............. Round Trip by Paul Mitchel, Medium hold Spray Mouse by Alterna (made with Hemp), and that's pretty much it! But there are many products to try still!! If you can find a beauty supply store near your home, go in and talk to the people that work there. They usually give pretty good recommendations. Redken for men has some pretty good stuff too. And a lot of people will tell you Bed Head stuff. Good luck son! Try them out first if you can. Hair products can be pricey!!

Well if you must keep it! :)................. I have unruly hair as well, and I have tried many many hair products to get my locks to stay together, and not turn into a big poof ball. The BEST products I have found to separate my curls, but not look there is toothpaste in my hair, are the fallowing.............. Round Trip by Paul Mitchel, Medium hold Spray Mouse by Alterna (made with Hemp), and that's pretty much it! But there are many products to try still!! If you can find a beauty supply store near your home, go in and talk to the people that work there. They usually give pretty good recommendations. Redken for men has some pretty good stuff too. And a lot of people will tell you Bed Head stuff. Good luck son! Try them out first if you can. Hair products can be pricey!!

Depends on the girl, and it also depends on your personal sense of style. Using a product on your hair can help control the curls a bit, but you can use product and make it appear more natural. If you have shorter curly hair, try putting a small but of moose or gel ( if your hair stands up well on it's own, use gel. if you need more volume, use moose) in you hair and working through well. use a blowdryer and work with the curls. it will give you a very natural look. if you have more questions, feel free to IM me or e-mail me. What kind of (men's) hair product am I looking for to give it a different style?
So my hair is wavy, and curly. It's not so curly that it scrunches up into little circles but it's curly none the less. I've tried many types of hair gels and it usually just separates the hair and makes it really curly. What I really want to do is make it look like all one wave of hair, or multiple waves of hair.. not large separate curled strands. And it always looks dark and wet. What should I use?

Alright, so I've had fairly long hair for the past 3 years. Actually it's not that long anymore, but it is a bit long, and I'm looking at just getting it all cut off. Most guys dont mind at all if you keep it trimmed. some do like a lot of hair, but more either dont care, or like it trimmed short, I would say. I hear more of my freinds joke about too big of a ';bush'; than complain about not enough hair. I can only recall one or two guys ever saying they liked it really hairy.
When I was younger, I liked variety. Full bush if you've been apart, whoa. Fully shaved surprise, whoa. Landing strip or hair only above, cool. Full bush isn't ideal for oral though. Hair above only was (and is) my favourite.
Now that I have kids ... I gotta say the full shave wierds me out a little bit. I prefer my women to look post-pubescent, you know? The shaved 'area' with hair above makes you look both like you've passed puberty AND affords easy smooth access where needed. win-win.
I maybe in the minority but I hate a complete bald woman I like a bit of hair I don't won't a whole forrest. I also find that when I have sex with a bald woman she dries inside quicker.
I have also heard DR'S say that the hair is their to lubricate and protect the area.
I am definitely repulsed by woman who don't trim their pubic hairs at least. Ideally I like the pubes to be trimmed and stylishly shaven, not completely shaven though but a small patch is a definite turn on.

I looked into a tad and apparently its because the wax/gel/whatever is too heavy for the hairstrands.
I need something that I can style my hair with and that'll make my hair look a bit thicker - thanks. Fudge is apparently really good but I still don't know what type to get (mousse/gel/etc.) or where to get the stuff (my barber's sells one type I think).

Everytime in the morning I take a shower, and I like really LOVE my hair in the morning because when it's wet it looks so nice.

Gel is probably your best bet here. Just get some men's styling gel and apply it evenly throughout your hair espically on the ends but make sure you dont use to much because it will look greasy then. You could even put some spikes in the front thats always hott.

What I do is use cream that you put in wet hair. Then, blow-dry it with a hair-dryer set to HOT. I use cream that makes it straight. What I recommend is using a cream. I have about the same length of hair as you, and I used gel at first. BUT it was sticky and ICK! Use body-amplifying cream in the shampoo section of wal-mart. (nice pic, btw!)
You would look REALLY hot if you cut your hair a bit shorter. It's too long.
Just get rid of the bits where it flips out at the bottom.

I guess I have a fairly narrow / long face, and was wondering what hairstyles work for that face shape. I am also over 6' tall, which may have some influence on the best style as well.

What is a good hair cut/style for a man with a big head and thinning hair/receding hairline?
I'm asking you guys because every time my hubby goes to get a haircut they give him a really stupid looking one. It always makes his head look bigger and they'll cut it short but give him this longer fringe in the front, I don't know if they're trying to hide the receding hairline (it's still in the early stages, it's not bad by any means) and to me it just looks plain ridiculous.
So there it is. He has straight, dark hair. Thinner hair, but not too thin. Early stages of receding hairline. LARGE head. He wears a mustache and a goatee/beard thingy. He has a weaker type chin, so the goatee/beard thingy balances out the rest of his face.
I hope I gave a good enough description, if you have questions just ask and I will add details.

Men's wig or hair piece for short hair style?
I was wondering if anybody can help me with this? I have a recedig hairline at the temples. I like to wear my hair short, nearly spiked. Unfortunately it doesn't look as good with the recession. I definately don't need an all out wig, but a couple of small pieces to cover the sides of the top of my head would be perfect.

A real man that likes a real woman likes hair down there...but I do like it cleaned up around the edges and trimmed a little...if she's feeling freaky, then a landing strip or dorito is cool, but I personally don't like bare.
Shaved, but a landing strip is next best. As long as she is nice and clean and tidy, then that is what counts.

Unfortunately for him my housemate is losing his hair and my girlfriend reckons he鈥檇 look better with a different hairstyle. He鈥檚 only 26 and at the moment he kind of spikes it up on top the same way he always has since school. The trouble is it kind of accentuates the fact that it鈥檚 thinning and top of that his hair is fairly fine and light anyway so it isn鈥檛 a good look.
How should I broach the subject of a better hairstyle with him?

1) Make sure the sides and the back are cut thinner or at the same level of his balding place. It will make it less obvious...
2) Go totally bald, thats sexier
3) If he tottally cool of being bald, tell him to make sure the place that arent bald to be neat and smart (You know, like professors). The only look that can worsen it up if he stays too long without any haircut.
4) Go to hair clinic.
Comb over is not cool. I assume you have seen bald people who like to comb over and they look kinda wearing wig? So dont do that...

Good hairspray for styling men's hair?
I've got medium length hair and I want to style it, maybe spiked up. From personal experience, do you know a good hairspray product which will work well with men's hair? I've tried things like matte clay, but that makes my hair feel greasy. Gel doesn't work very well either. I'm currently using Dax Hair Wax, but was wondering if there's anything better out there for hair (mine is quite thick and dark brown) which is around 1 inches on top when cut and about 2 inches on top just before it's due another cut? I'm after some which is really really strong so won't move as it drys.

And to answer your question: I prefer Gatsby wax and it comes in different colours depending on your hair length.
And you might want to try buying a hair straightener if you want your hair to keep straight.. or even just get it perminently straightened at the hair dresser.

I normally have short-medium hair (2-4';). I am looking for a product that is not so hard to the touch, but at the same time a product that will hold my hair up for the whole day and for the most part not change style. I have previously used the American Crew Firm Hold as well as the Light Hold Gel. These two work great for hold and shine however, it become really hard and I want to go down a notch a little bit from the stiffness of the hair gels, glues, etc...I was looking on the website and some products that American Crew has are Pomade, molding creme, molding clay, foaming creme, etc. I do not know the difference between these and I am wondering if one of these would be what I am looking for: a product for short-medium hair, excellent hold, low-medium shine, soft to the touch, light on the head. My hair is very straight but is not very thin nor is it very thick and crazy...it is in the middle. Thanks! Use TreSemme ultra hold anti frizz spray. It will hold your hair in the right position, get rid of frizz, and its not as greasy as those nasty gels and styling creams.

Well to be honnest, i'm a straight guy and i think making arrows or really doing anything with your Pubic hair is gay. Sorry to the person that wrote this. I mean no disrespect at all but, my opinion being straight is why do anything with your pubic hair. Its pubic hair, what more can i say. i'm a 25 y-o guy and i'm starting to have long hair and i'd like to use a product to give more style. Something like an alternative to gel..(without the macho or wet appearance.) i've come accross molding paste which i've used once but only a little bit and i thought it was very nice.. but what exactly is this for and what does it do..and how does it compare to gel? how much quantity do we have to use and how often..? the product descriptions say very little and salespeople arent very informed.

Hair styles for hispanic men?
Ok, so here's the thing. I've been growing my hair for three years now (braids) and I plan on cutting it off this summer. However, I don't want to go back to the basic ceasar haircut. Are there any other hairstyles out there (other than the fade) that I should try?

I just want a nice flip at the front that doesn't look packed down with gel. So just some information on various products(pomades, etc.), how to use them, and when (straight out of the shower, towelled dry, with hair dryer, etc.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've looked all over and most websites are just for women with short hair, or they just don't help at all.
