Did jesus have long hair or short hair? it was said at those times it was shamefull for men to have long hair?

Dear Friend,

You are absolutely correct. It is certain that Jesus had short hair.

1 Corinthians 11:14-15 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.Did jesus have long hair or short hair? it was said at those times it was shamefull for men to have long hair?
The passage actually says that it is shameful for a man to adorn his hair like a woman. Back then, that meant weaving gold chains, coins and what-not into your hair. The style for men back then was long hair pulled back into a loose pony-tail.Did jesus have long hair or short hair? it was said at those times it was shamefull for men to have long hair?
I once saw a forensic representation of Jesus, and yes, it did indeed show a man with hair about down to his chin, with a neatly trimmed, short beard.
The saying had nothing to do with the actual length of hair. It has to do with men taking on the sexual nature of a woman and acting out sexually with another man..
It was shamefull for both men and women to have unbound hair as this conflicted with Jewish laws on personal hygene.
He probably had short hair, though the definition of short two thousand years ago might be a little different than our current standard.
Instead of being a Nazarene, maybe he was a Nazorite like Samson. It was forbidden to cut the hair of a Nazorite.
He had ';short'; hair but not a crew cut. Women had uncut hair so ';short'; was relative to that.
How would we know? I would say longish because there weren't scissors back then, but we weren't there.
i dont think aroung that his time it was shameful to have long hair, but either way we'll never know(if he comes back and has short hair maybe he shaved it)
He had hair????
