Smells like a double standard here.Why do people object to men wearing long hair but it's O.K. for women to wear their hair as short as guys wear?
i don't know. we keep conversations like this at my school. its just the way the world is. short hair can be sexy on a woman and while long hair can be attractive on men most of the time it is a feminine look and that's why people don't like it. there are just things like that people will never like just how it is i guess.Why do people object to men wearing long hair but it's O.K. for women to wear their hair as short as guys wear?
um no some people think girls shouldn't have their hair short but its okay for boys to have long hair
its a matter of preference
ok if you don't see girls get laughed at for their hair being mad short then you don't pay attention. Yeah some girls get away for it but not most and guys with long hair are freaking gross
Some people think girls shouldn't wear short hair and vice versa.
I think guys and girls should wear their hair any way they want, equally.
And another thing, is that girls can wear both pants and skirts or dresses.
Guys with long hair are kool.

It's not really a double standard. Primarily, when dealing with ';corporate America'; most people find it hard to take men with long hair seriously. In some cases, they may be misconstrued as being dope addicts. That's not what I think, but that is the thought process of business people. On the other hand, women have always been known to change their hairstyles through the years, and most people don't find it unusual for women to have shorter hair.
In some cases, there may be a health reason why women may have shorter hair.
Don't take it personally, that's just the way it is. Sorry about that! Good luck.
