I dyed my hair about a month back and the hair dresser bleached it ( i was a dark brown)?

I am now seeing tinges of red coming through. How do I get it back to brown again? What color can I buy to put through on my own? Would those coloring shampoos help or is it best to get a color?I dyed my hair about a month back and the hair dresser bleached it ( i was a dark brown)?
hiya,

im guessing u wana be a dark brown again? that happens with black hair u get red tinges coming through. anyway it will be very hard to get to dark brown yourself from black, as if u put a dakr brown colour on yourself will go black again, so my advice go to the salon and ask them to strip the black from your hair and then get a brown toner put on it. hope that helpsI dyed my hair about a month back and the hair dresser bleached it ( i was a dark brown)?
I also color my hair but i don't dye it I highlight it.

But I know that that stuff happens.

There is many reasons for it.

Have u been going in the pool? chloring may be changing the color a little. It happens =\

or ur hair might be naturally giving off tinges of red.

But i would highly reccommend you DO NOT color over the red urself.

You should go to a hair dresser to get it done. MAKE SURE THEY DO IT RIGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE.

My mom has had a problem when she was younger %26amp; the hairdresser totally colored her hair wrong and it turned gray cuz the colors mixed lol.

Also.

Yes.

When u are buying shampoo. Look for a bottle that says somewhere ';color smart'; or ';color treatment shampoo'; or something like that.

It tends to say it on the back but sometimes it says on the front.

I hope I helped%26lt;3
I had the exact same experience...

Here's what I did:

I went to a salon, which is best if you want a specific colour, since you (mostly) can be assured you'll get the right colour.

However, if you do it on your own (which I also did later, since going to the salon can be a pain) to cancel out the red you can use ASH tones. Most boxes of dye say ';ash'; on them, or you can tell because they have little to no red tint. This should cancel out the reddish tones.

I've tried coloring shampoos, and to be honest - I didn't find they made much of a difference. I had a purple one from Aveda to cancel redness, but I think they are mainly for people with a SLIGHT red tinge. If your hair has gone quite warm (red), I would suggest a non-ammonia, or peroxide-free dye!
