Its not proven to cause birth defects. It all depends on your beleifs and how you feel about it. But I have never heard of it affecting babies, but some woman feel they better be safe than sorry. Some what true. Its fine as long as you're in a well ventilated area. As long as like... you're not inhaling it or something, or in a very confined area with no vents... then there's no problem.
i think that as far as putting color or bleach on clients hair would be the only problem.. but they can wear gloves so none of the chemicals are absorbed through the skin.
Hairdressers get pregnant and continue working all the time. Their babies are still healthy.
well my hairdresser has had 7 children and all of which have spent there younger months and all pregnancy in the shop....and they all turned out fine...
