thease people are hiv positave. and i need to talk to some one about getting tested.and why am i angree over this.I am a hair dresser .do i have the right to be up set beacuse they did not tell me right off the bat or should
This is the narrow minded stuff that annoys me. People with HIV do not need to tell their hair dresser that they have HIV that is personal and unless you are exchanging fluids there is no reason for him/her to tell you so that you can judge them for their illness, if you cut them and they still don't tell you then yes there is a reason to be upset. It is carried through blood even making out with someone who has HIV it is highly unlikely that you will get it unless both of your mouths are bleeding! Educate yourself if you are in an industry where health is a concern that's your job not theirs, every client should be treated the same and if not then you are discriminating, i work in an industry where i deal with peoples blood on a daily basis, everything you do for sanitation purposes should be the same with every client to avoid cross-contamination and spreading illness (which isn't even really a concern in your field) People with HIV and Hepatitis are still people, put yourself in their shoes and think about whether or not you would want everyone to know your personal health issues or not, it is not your right to know if someone has HIV unless it is endangering you.I am a hair dresser .do i have the right to be up set beacuse they did not tell me right off the bat or should
i am a little lost! ok you worked on clients who were Hiv+??
unless u exchanged bodily fluids u are OK.
You can't get HIV from cutting people's hair, so there's no reason for you to get tested or have them tell you about it.
what?
thaty makes no sense, sorry. please reword it!!!
up to you
that does not make since!!
Has long as you did not cut yourself and them you should be fine. I do not think you can contract HIV by touching a infected persons hair. The hair is dead. What are you freaking out for? Maybe you are in such a rant we do not understand your confusing question.
because its serous
No, you have no right to be upset. Most hairdressers don't swap body fluids with their clients.
Unless you cut yourself while cutting their hair and you exchange bodily fluids you having nothing to be worried about.
This is for April H. April washing your hands really well will not protect you for getting HIV.
Why would cutting someones hair be an issue if they have HIV? Ohhhh I get it they also had lice right? Do yourself a favor and learn more about it. Unless you made out and had cuts in your mouth or also had sex in your chair you should be good to go!
You can't get HIV from cutting hair. lol i learned that in the 7th grade
What difference does it make if they are HIV positive or not? If they paid you for your services and you didn't have sex with them it shouldn't matter to you. Wash your hands real good and call it a day!
