I'm in a wedding on Sunday and myself and 2 other bridesmaids made an appointment for up-do's. The wedding is early, so we had to schedule the appointment for 7am. Today the hair dresser told me the cost for each up-do is $30 but they want a deposit of $30 before Sunday. She said it was because they have to come in so early on a Sunday. I have never heard of a hair dresser asking for a deposit before, is this common or should I be worried about it? This hair dresser has done my mother's hair for years so she is trust worthy.Hair dresser is asking for a deposit for an up-do?
i worked in a salon that took deposits, for one reason.....we would book these very early appointments, on a day we would normally not work, and guess what.......they wouldnt show up. well after that happening a few times we said no more and made a policy of 20% deposits. make sure to get a reciept that states how much you deposited, owe and the total price for the day. and also ask for her home number and cell number, just in case.......also call the night before and make sure everything is still going to happen. since you know her, i'm sure everything is gonna turn out fine.Hair dresser is asking for a deposit for an up-do?
