Is short hair a turn off for men?

It seems that it might be, because most of the models and sex symbols all have long flowing hair. Is short hair viewed as attractive or more manly and unattractive.Is short hair a turn off for men?
Culture, that's all it is.





In the time of Christ, Men in Roman and Greek Cities, when they were not in battle, kept their hair long. Women were expected to keep their hair short.





Many times and places in history, it was considered Manly to wear skirts or dresses, an women were not allowed to wear them, but had to wear trousers. In fact, it was thought that women wearing skirts or men wearing trousers was unhygienic.





Go figure! While I like seeing a woman who has long hair, I also like seeing women with short hair. Hair doesn't matter to me, it is the person under the hair that matters, not the hair.





Women who work, and keep house, and look after children, and a partner, often do not have the time needed to pamper themselves, let alone have the time required to keep long hair in tip top shape.





After all, it may be Hair today, but it will be Gone eventually.Is short hair a turn off for men?
Short hair = masculine. Long hair = feminine.





Hair is a sign of health. Long, shiny hair is a sign of good health, and is instinctively sought out by males. Short hair would indicate some sort of health problem (I'm talking about before modern times).





We still are guided by our instincts - especially when deciding who is attractive.

My hair is just about shoulder length and I turn on a lot of men. Sometimes I can't turn them off. I suffer.
a woman is not her hair, as they say, (Ms Arie), but i know lots of men who think that short hair is beautiful, I think it just depends on the guy, or gurl. You can do more with long hair, the shorter it is the less you can do to it... but there are lots of models with short hair!

Actually, nothing turns me on more than short hair on women. I have no idea why, but it does. Then again, I have been known to be a little odd, but I'm fine with that.

I don't believe there is a right or wrong answer to this question. I think, just as with every other personal preference in life, that everyone you ask would have a different answer to this question. More than anything you should worry about whether your long or short hair is all the person is judging you on. Is that someone you want to be involved with? I know that I personally would want someone a little deeper than that. I am sure you are a beautiful person with your hair short, long, medium or even shaved off. Not always, just like clothes some styles look better on some people than others. Hair is the same way, some girls look great with short hair others not so much. It boils down to individual taste and choice.
personally i think short hair can be attractive. but i'm not talking buzzed or bald short, like 1/2';-1'; is fine by me. it just depends on the girl and how the cut looks on her.
No not one bit, I think short hair is nice!!!
When I met my husband I had boy short hair, when we started going out I had a shaved head. He didnt like either - long hair doesnt suit me, since having no money and having to grow my hair (boo hoo sob) he really wants me to go to the hairdressers and get my short cut again.
