What is the appropriate amount to tip a hair dresser?

Thanks:-)What is the appropriate amount to tip a hair dresser?
I'd say that the standard 15% you tip in a restaurant is good. What is the appropriate amount to tip a hair dresser?
20% if you like the outcome, nothing if they totally messed it up. However, you should always tip the shampoo girl if that is a different person between 2 and 5 dollars depending on the salon and what you had done.
My hair is a little past my shoulders...It costs about $200.00 for the services. I personally tip $50. Due to the fact that Ive been with her for a number of years and it is an upscale salon. 20% is usually ok though.
it all depends on what you are having done. something simple like a blow dry %26amp; curl $5- $7, weaves 10 and up. but really we are happy to receive anything a client gives us
i always do my own hair, but i usually tip my nail guy $5, and my tattoo lady $10

whatever seems fair for the service, i guess? it's generally acceptable to tip 16% in a restaurant
15% in a normal salon, 20% in an upscale salon, 25% if she ';accidentally'; rubs her boobs on you a lot.
It depends on what you got done to it. and how much it cost. If it was something simple and cheap then like 5-10 bucks. the more you do to it the more you shoould tip
normally it should not be below 10% of the rate, me i give 15 % of their charges...
what up how are you doing what is your real name?

if you tell you i well tell you mine ok
about $5.00 and then go get something to eat ! ok

It honestly depends on the service given..usually 15% is good but you must remember this is how they make a living and they appreciate what is given but usually if it jingles keep it in ';your'; pocket..
