Is it safe to assume that if you walk into a hair salon and the hair dresser looks like they just stepped out?

of the 80's with big bleach blond peg bundy hair or with a horible mullet that they are lost in the times and will give you a horible haircut?


How do you know that the person is good at what they do????Is it safe to assume that if you walk into a hair salon and the hair dresser looks like they just stepped out?
I've been a stylist now for 3 years and i hear things like this alllll the time. Personally, i have very long hair that is all one color. i have several clients that comment on that. its not often you see a stylist with ';normal'; hair. but so many people tell me that they trust me because of my hair! its funny, atleast i find it funny. usually the girls with the crazy hair dont find it so humerous. its those girls that give hairstylist like me a bad name





I do find that im better at the more ';natural look'; rather than something crazy (cause its what i wear)Is it safe to assume that if you walk into a hair salon and the hair dresser looks like they just stepped out?
if their clients hair is pretty they are a good stylist for you. say you want a bob and you walk in the hair salon and you see an ugly old man wearing a shirt from the 1800s touching up on the most beautiful bob ever you must pick him no matter how horrible his clothes are.
yeah i usually dont trust those people and cringe when my hair is placed in thier hands


i would eiether go for a younger stylist or someone who looks practicle
