Would it look okay or not? Like if you got enough of them to produce feminine looking hairI'm a cross dresser and I was wondering if you could use those hair extension clips instead of a wig?
Hello Mel, yes you can althought unless you are good at it I would get someone to help the first couple of times, done properly no one will know that it is not your own hair
good luckI'm a cross dresser and I was wondering if you could use those hair extension clips instead of a wig?
Darling,
Go for it until your own hair grows, much better than a wig when properly connected. Ladies hairdressers can be very helpful. If you are too shy to visit one in public, find a hairdresser who does home visits.
Lots of love,
Diana.
XXXX
yes it would look fine i got extentions myself and there mad as !
there like $300 and most people just think its my own hair which is good you can also get them glued in

If a woman is attractive..nice hair, pretty smile, nice eyes, nice dresser?
Will a few extra pounds be a deal breaker? Like 25 lbs?If a woman is attractive..nice hair, pretty smile, nice eyes, nice dresser?
No.
';Men are not dogs, they don't love bones.';If a woman is attractive..nice hair, pretty smile, nice eyes, nice dresser?
it shouldn't be - but what about her heart? does she have a nice heart - that is the most important.
If it shows in the wrong areas.
Not if the 25lb's are in the tit's.
not if hes a good guythen he wont care
nope....my friend has a few extra pounds and she gets a lot of attention...(good)
You can lose weight, but you can't lose ugly. Understand?
Weight has nothing to do with it and you know that. You just want permission from someone to date her because you really like it.
How would feel if someone passed you over because of your weight!!!
25 pounds is more than a few extra! However, I am sure there are guys out there who actually do put personality higher on their list than physical appearance. As long as you are confident and comfortable in your own skin, it will show. Confidence is attractive.
Why should it?
If u luv her go for her.
Yes it will matter to alot of guys. Remember tho, she only needs one guy.
Nooooooooooo
No of course not!
Guys these days like a girl with a FEW extra pounds just as long as the extra weight doesn't show to the point where you look sloppy
no thats mean, but if she gets really mega fat dont bother with her!
besides if you have lots of sexxx, it burns da flab lol
you can always lose weight
No.

What was with Jesus' long hair and dress (robes), was he a cross-dresser?
We have no idea what Jesus looked like. Those are artists' imaginations you are referring to.What was with Jesus' long hair and dress (robes), was he a cross-dresser?
Are modern-day Arab people who wear traditional dress cross dressers? Saying yes to that could get you killed! Jesus wore what everybody else wore in his time, that's all, and it was very different from what we wear today. (For one thing, they didn't have zippers - now you figure out how much of a problem that might be unless the clothing was different from ours!)What was with Jesus' long hair and dress (robes), was he a cross-dresser?
Jesus didn't have long hair. The men of his day had shorter hair. As a matter of fact as part of a Revelation prophecy it speaks of Jesus as having hair like a sheep. That means short and all wooly like. Sort of like a black man.
And no, Jesus was not a cross dresser. All the men dressed like that back then. In many Arab countries today they still wear the dress like outfit.
Long hair wasn't really appropriate for men, then...
... so yeah...

Maybe he was, but since no one can prove it then it is automatically becomes part of the Christian dogma. I would seriously consider writing the pope about this. He would be interested considering he is a cross-dresser himself.
there is no real portrayal of Jesus Christ. The ideal image of Christ was created by the painter Michael Angelo 1000 years after Jesus died. Those images are created by humans in books, movies, and hanged on walls
In Nazareth, a Nazareth man did not wear long hair.
A Nazarite was a title put upon those making a special vow of abstention.

I think you need to ask the pope about appropriate formal attire.
I wonder if Jesus rode around in a fish bowl on the back of a donkey cart?
how do you know he looked like that? he could have worn baggy jeans converse and t shirts and short spiky hair lol. noone knows what he looks like
yeah well he was a homeless tramp who travelled around in a group of 12 guys, telling people to believe in him or burn for eternity

Is there a re-bonding or straightening hair-dressers in Glasgow, Edinburgh , Fife or Aberdeen?
I have had my hair re-bonded (with chemicals and GHD straightening irons) in Malaysia. My roots are due to be re-done in March/April of this year. Where can I find a salon that offers this facility? The procedure is the reverse of a perm. Instead of rollers your hair is dried and straightened with GHDs and then the neutralizing fluid is applied on dried straightened hair - left for 20 minutes then washed off ; conditioned;and then blow dried with fingers. The end result being smooth; straight;unfrizzed silky hair!!Is there a re-bonding or straightening hair-dressers in Glasgow, Edinburgh , Fife or Aberdeen?

What is a hair dressers income?
In order to make the big money you need your own shop. Then you get money from everyone else that works for you. You could have a small shop with you and maybe one or two others.
If you can get a large following you have it made. Everyone I know that owns their own place says that is the way to go.
You have freedom and flexability.
I am sure you must know someone you can talk to regarding your own shop.....................Why work for someone else and let them in on your earned money and clients? Take some time and thought and put together a business plan.
Doesn't that sound like fun? Your own shop and you decorate it the way you want to? I'm excited for you and I don't even know you.............................What is a hair dressers income?
well, I am a licensed cosmetologist and I have been working for the same salon for the last nearly 6 years and that salon is awesome as far as taking care of its employees....I get paid an hourly wage of $9.00 an hour and I get bonuses for every product I sell, and I also get extra bonuses if my service dollars per hour are high, which they are, so I probably gross about $500. per week, which is not shabby. But the BIG $$$ is in color...if you can do lots of color, you can make the big bucks....no kidding, I make anywhere from $20-100. per day in tips and sometimes alittle more, depending on how generous my clients are feeling that day....at Christmas time, it is nothing to go home with $120. or more in tips per dayWhat is a hair dressers income?
not much........ my sisters a hair dresser.. she gets paid by commision.. about 60% of what she makes.. she keeps..... so thats about 15 thousand a YEAR nothing at all
About 20 G's a year.
I know a couple who make about 100 K a month. They are in hollywood. If you are referring to the local saloon, its mostly between 12 K - 14 K per year. I think that includes tips. They make about 50 dollars in tips each day.

Why do we tip hair dressers? When I go into a salon and am there for 2hrs, my bill is $150 that is $75 /hr.?
it's customary to tip people who perform services for the public: waitresses, cab drivers, delivery drivers (who also get paid a nice hourly wage + gas compensation), valet parkers, concierge, massage therapists, and so on. not tipping is considered an insult and is terribly rude. Why do we tip hair dressers? When I go into a salon and am there for 2hrs, my bill is $150 that is $75 /hr.?
You may be paying 75$ an hour, but the stylist is not seeing that much money. In an extremely generous salon, they may see 50% of that; more often they receive 35% or 40% of that. $26.25 isn't a ton of money, especially seeing as that's BEFORE taxes. After taxes, that's not a ton of take-home pay. It's polite to recognize their hard work and service with a little bit of extra, tax-free, income. Why do we tip hair dressers? When I go into a salon and am there for 2hrs, my bill is $150 that is $75 /hr.?
i only tip if the do a great job and are polite. if im paying $150 and your rude, the staff is rude and i waited 45 minutes past my appt time, not only am i not tipping, but im not returning.
kind of left field- but are you supposed to tip the hair washer as well? once again- if service is good i do, but feel a bit wanky about it, not sure if its proper
That's why I don't tip. I don't know why everyone feels they should get a tip for doing what they get paid to do. I can understand waitresses and people that go out of there way. But it's becoming ridiculous how everywhere you go people expect a tip.
First, not every hair-dresser charges $150 for 2 hours. You go to a very expensive salon. My feeling is that you go there because they make you feel good about yourself, not just because you need your hair done. So, really, you are tipping them for the good feeling, not for the expertise. If all you wanted to do was to get your hair done, you could get it done for $20 or $30. And even then, if the person made you feel comfortable, made you smile, and generally allowed to enjoy yourself instead of being bored for 2 hours of doing nothing, why not tip him/her?
You are getting complete care for two hours, correct, you cannot
do your own hair, they went to school to learn how to do Hair.
The price is products + expertize+ knowledge. It's one of the hardest Jobs to do.Then, the Stylist must pay her percent to the shop owner.Come on tips are part of their salary....

A question for hair dressers: After hair has been conditioned, why does it have 2 b rinsed with cold water????
Every time I go to the hair salon, after my hair has been conditioned (especially deep conditioned), It's rinsed out with cold water. Why is that?A question for hair dressers: After hair has been conditioned, why does it have 2 b rinsed with cold water????
I don't know why they would do that I always use warm water to make sure I get all the conditioner out of the hair. The only way I would use cold water is after a chemical service to keep the color locked in.A question for hair dressers: After hair has been conditioned, why does it have 2 b rinsed with cold water????
Because hot water will rinse all of the conditioner out and they want some of it to stay in your hair so it looks and feels healthier.
cos hot water is not good for ur hair or maybe its just a coincidence ask ur hairdresser next time u go .
2 answers:
1.Because the cold water will seal the moisture and close the cuticle(making your hair shiny and soft)
2.Its a little trick in order to avoid tangles
I'm not a hair dresser but I think it's to prevent ALL the conditioner being rinsed out. Conditioner is a light oil (yes like engine oil) which lubricates your hair, making it feel softer and tangle less.
The same reason when you use a deep conditoner you use heat with it. Heat will open your cuticule and let in color, perms, protein, etc. Cold will close it. You also can not put a color on your hair and go outside in the cold. The color will not take. When rinsing conditoner with cold water it will seal it in.

Is there a higher demand for hair dressers of estheticians in the U.S.?
With the reform I was just curious as to which profession would be my best opinion due to recent job loss in the U.S.Is there a higher demand for hair dressers of estheticians in the U.S.?
I would have to say hair stylists. People still need to keep their hairstyles updated, especially if they are job hunting. Skin care falls into the category of things that people can cut back on and do at home.

Is a hair stylist/dresser supposed to be fast or slow?
Would you prefer a quick working hair stylist (who has much experience) Or a slow hair stylist...
And why please.
I live in Missouri my mom does hair, she has been doing it for around 20 years now and works quick. She knows whats shes doing, not not measure things, and people she works with believe that a SLOW hair stylist is best? Whaaat?
Whats it like in New York, Calirfornia, etc.Is a hair stylist/dresser supposed to be fast or slow?
Speed doesn't always matter. The end result does. A good stylist can give you the look you want without ruining your hair. I don't want to sit in the chair all day for a simple color and cut, but when you work too quickly you can sometimes make mistakes (missing spots that needed coloring, uneven cuts). It all depends on what work you're having done, how long/thick the hair is, etc.
And why please.

I don't want to sit in the chair all day for a simple color and cut, but when you work too quickly you can sometimes make mistakes (missing spots that needed coloring, uneven cuts). It all depends on what work you're having done, how long/thick the hair is, etc.

I want to go to China and was wondering if there would be a black hair dressers?
Hong Kong is much better in the caring of different hair styles as it has been an international city for a very long time. Elsewhere inside the mainland, try the hair dressers inside 5-star foreign hotels which may have come across black curly hair.I want to go to China and was wondering if there would be a black hair dressers?
If you are in a large city such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen or possibly, Chongqing, you may find a black hair dresser. However, outside of these cosmopolitan areas (who have large numbers of expatriates from countries around the world), you may run into problems.I want to go to China and was wondering if there would be a black hair dressers?
All Chinese people have black hair, except for the ones who dye their hair a different color. Every hair dresser in China must be really good with black haired customers. In fact, China must be the best place in the world to go for hair dressers specializing in black hair.

Do hair dressers get mad if your hair is in a really bad shape and you've cut it yourself ?
I would think the same way, but hey, isn't that their job?Do hair dressers get mad if your hair is in a really bad shape and you've cut it yourself ?
yes, its just better to come in and have a stylist cut your hair in the first place please! its what we go to school for, and its sometimes hard to fix peoples hair and they expect miracles!Do hair dressers get mad if your hair is in a really bad shape and you've cut it yourself ?
I had bad experience with one , My hair was very long covering all my back and it's tick , and the lady was so unhappy to do my hair she was complaining all the time during the process , I paid 150 dollar but I wasn't happy with the result .
lol i think they get irritated because they have to figure out how to fix it without you complaining that they made it worse. i cut my own bangs really short and stupid once and asked them to fix it so they put hair over my super short bangs and cut them so it looked nice. But i think they get mad because they'r e afraid your gonna be one of those people who will complain that they made it worse than it was before.

Is a hair stylist/dresser supposed to be fast or slow?
Would you prefer a quick working hair stylist (who has much experience) Or a slow hair stylist...
And why please.
I live in Missouri my mom does hair, she has been doing it for around 20 years now and works quick. She knows whats shes doing, doesnt have to measure things/go by the book, and people she works with believe that a SLOW hair stylist is best? Whaaat?
What is it like in New York, Calirfornia, etc.Is a hair stylist/dresser supposed to be fast or slow?
Well im from NYC and have seen celebrity hairstylists like Frederic Fekkai, Ted Gibson, and recently Rodney Cutler. What I've noticed is that they pay a lot of attention to detail and work slow. They only use scissors and never use those electric sheer things or whatever they are and often have a whole line of different scissors in front of them to use. I've never seen that with regular stylists. It seems that slow and easy is better. But everyone has a different technique. Hair is an art. I know people who have to be slow and precise when they do art. I cant do art slow. I actually work better faster without doing all the measuring and stuff. It depends ont eh person. There is no best way.Is a hair stylist/dresser supposed to be fast or slow?
doesn't matter as long as they do an awesome job, but personaly my hair stylist is slow but its totally worth it, i would rather wait longer 2 have aAmazingng hairstyle than leavearlierer with an ok hairstyle, hope i helped :)
It all depends on the hair style. If you are asking your stylist to do some complex cut, she should go slow. If it is a simple trim, it should go pretty fast.
maybe you need to do both be slow but also fast!lol
